Religion, Bigotry, Symptoms of Addiction – When a) an opinion is not contingent upon reason, evidence and measurement and b) vaunted as superior to them and c) arbitrarily applied.
A religion is a popular mythology. A cult is merely less popular (a proto-religion). Both have narcotic effects upon the brain.
