The supposed reflective properties of the supposed ionosphere had to be “discovered” i.e. fabricated AFTER these broadcasts in order to explain this phenomenon. These early transmissions used very high power levels. Decades later the USA and many other countries brought in laws limiting the maximum power of broadcasts from radio masts that are in place today to avoid drawing attention to it.
The shills might say oh radio bounces off the magic invisible radio-frequency-only-mirror in the sky that has not actually been shown to exist except by our space suited clown friends with the masonic achiever badges.
The simple response is then, firstly, let’s see evidence of this magic mirror and secondly…
WHY DO YOU NEED A BIG TALL MAST TO TRANSMIT FURTHER THEN? Can’t have it both ways.

ALSO if the radio did magically bounce all the way around the sphere off the magic spherical sky mirror then it would bounce all the way around and interfere with itself! The whole thing would become an interference pattern and nobody could pick up a thing anywhere.
ALSO how come the satellites and distant objects are able to reach us with radio transmissions to our radio telescopes and satellite dishes etc if the ionosphere is a radio wave mirror? Is it a one way mirror? Amazing… sigh…
ALSO radio antennae are directional. You need to point them in the right direction to get a decent signal. If the sky mirror is bouncing the signal everywhere then how come you always need to orient the antenna towards the transmission mast? I call bullshit.
ALSO you need to place your antenna high up, such as on a roof. All TV and radio aerials go on the roof. If the signal was bouncing around everywhere this would make no sense. It’s for the same reason the mast is tall – to reduce the number of objects between the aerial and the top of the mast. Because radio waves are much like light waves… so you climb higher to get a better view… and build a higher mast and antennae to have a bigger range.
ALSO why did General Electric or whoever made the Virginia transmission even think for one second to try and pick it up in Paris or Hawaii? Nobody had “discovered” these ionosphere phenomena at that time in 1915. So they just got lucky? Someone had a wireless receiver in Paris and picked it up by mistake and got in touch somehow? It’s all just implausible; they knew perfectly well the Earth is flat or wouldn’t have bothered in the first place.
ALSO even if the sky is a magic radio-only mirror then when it hits the ground a zillion times on the way round do you know how many hops it would go? One. It would be absorbed on the first collision with the ground. The ground is not a radio mirror.
Do you realise that if the sky was an all-frequency magic mirror, instead of a radio-only magic mirror when we look up we would be able to see Australia from the UK reflected up in the sky. I want whatever NASA are smoking.

Those of you who are familiar with the work of Nikola Tesla might also consider whether a similar problem would have been created by his tower at the ill fated Wardenclyffe project… right at the start of the century.
